It sounds a bit strange to some people that we are named after the Delhi airport but our office is actually here in Agra. We are located at C 15 in the Police Colony, right near the Thana-Sikandra. My office desk faces the window where I can see the street outside. It’s usually pretty quiet in this part of town, which is nice compared to the main city traffic. We handle a lot of the logistical stuff and paperwork that links back to the operations in Delhi. I’ve been working here for a few years now, and the routine is pretty much the same every day. I get in, start the computer, and deal with whatever files came in overnight. Sometimes people get confused by the address being in Uttar Pradesh, but this is where we do the work. The building is just a standard place, nothing fancy to look at. We have a few tea breaks where we sit around and talk about the news or what’s happening in the neighborhood. It’s an honest job. We don't have fancy uniforms or big signs. Just a group of people making sure things move along like they are supposed to. The office walls could use a fresh coat of paint, to be honest. We also have a small fridge that makes a rattling noise all day, but we ignore it. The commute from the other side of Agra can be a bit of a pain during the monsoon, but we still make it in.
