Indo-Asian News Service operates out of Rz-Ci/98A in Vijay Enclave. We are situated near Dwarka Sector 1, which is a growing part of the city. The office is a bit of a maze of desks, wires, and stacks of newspapers that we haven't gotten around to throwing away. Being a news service means we don't really have a closing time; someone is usually here typing away at a keyboard or checking the latest updates on the screen. It’s not a shiny TV studio with bright lights and makeup. It’s a place where we write, edit, and send out stories to other people. The walls could use a fresh coat of paint, and the tea guy knows exactly how we like our drinks because he comes by so often. We deal with all sorts of news, from politics to local happenings in Haryana and New Delhi. It’s a fast-paced environment, but we try to keep things grounded. There’s a lot of shouting across the room when something big happens, and then a lot of quiet when everyone is focused on their work. We’ve been in Vijay Enclave for a good while, and we’ve become part of the local scenery. We aren't trying to be famous; we just want to get the facts down and get them out to the public. It can be exhausting, but it's what we do every single day.
