Indigo

Our office is right in the middle of the bustle in Lajpat Nagar, specifically at 1/ G 58. If you know this part of New Delhi, you know how busy the streets can get, especially on the weekends. We have been here for some time, and the place has a certain lived-in feel to it. It is not one of those huge corporate skyscrapers you see in Gurgaon; instead, it is a regular ground-floor setup that fits into the neighborhood. People are always coming in and out, and the phones seem to never stop ringing with questions about flights and bookings. It can get a bit loud with the traffic outside, but we are used to it by now. Inside, there are desks pushed together and a lot of folders stacked up in the corners. We try to keep things organized, but on busy days, it can look a bit messy with notes and coffee cups everywhere. The staff here mostly lives nearby or takes the metro to get in. We spend a lot of time looking at screens and talking to customers who are trying to get somewhere. It’s a practical space where we just focus on getting the work done without much fuss. Sometimes the air conditioning struggles with the Delhi heat, but we manage. It’s a decent place to work, and being so close to the market means there is always good food nearby for lunch. We just do our thing every day.
