Indigo Airlines

You can find us at I-67 in Sarojini Nagar. Most people know this part of New Delhi for the massive markets and the crowds, but our little corner is where we handle things for Indigo Airlines. It’s not the airport, obviously, but this office is where the ground-level stuff happens. The building is older, and you have to walk up some narrow stairs to get to us. It gets quite warm in the summer, and the fan doesn't always do enough. We have a few desks pushed together. It’s a bit cramped, especially when we have a lot of paperwork to file. We deal with a lot of coordination here. It’s not all glamour like the planes you see in the sky. It’s mostly phone calls and filling out forms. The street noise from Sarojini Nagar filters in throughout the day. You can hear the bargains being made outside. We usually grab lunch from one of the local stalls nearby because the food is good and cheap. We don't have a big corporate cafeteria. The carpet is a bit worn out in the high-traffic areas, but it doesn’t bother us much. We’re focused on the tasks. It’s a busy environment and there is always something that needs fixing or someone who needs an answer. We just take it one day at a time. It’s a humble setup for such a big name, but it works for us and the people who visit.
