Indigo Airline

It is pretty busy here at our spot in Lok Vihar, Pitam Pura. We are part of the Indigo Airline team, but we mostly handle the ground-level stuff that happens in a local Delhi office. The street outside is usually full of traffic, and you can hear the horns all day long. Inside, it is mostly the sound of keyboards and people talking on the phone. We get all kinds of folks walking in. Some are confused about their flight times, and others need to change their seats at the last minute. It is not always smooth sailing. Sometimes the systems go down or there is a storm somewhere that messes up the whole schedule. We just sit here and try to fix things one by one. Our office is not some fancy corporate headquarters. It is just a regular place with some desks and a water cooler that occasionally leaks. We have been in this part of Pitam Pura for a while now, so we know the local shops where we get our lunch. It is a lot of repetitive work, checking names against passport numbers and making sure the baggage weights are right. We stay late quite a bit, especially when there are holidays coming up and everyone wants to fly at once. It’s just a job that keeps us on our toes. We don’t do anything too special, just the daily work of keeping an airline running from a small corner of Delhi.
