Our spot is at 22/20 A Tilak Nagar, right in the heart of New Delhi. It is a busy area, and our office is right in the middle of all that noise and energy. At Indiatimes, we spend our days staring at screens and typing out things that are happening around the country. The office is usually a bit messy with old newspapers and half-empty tea cups scattered around the desks. We have a lot of cables running across the floor because we are always adding more computers for the staff. It’s not the most organized place in the world, but we know where everything is. The traffic in Tilak Nagar is always a nightmare, so most of us show up a bit tired from the morning commute. Once we get here, though, it’s all about the news and what people are talking about online. We don't use any fancy language in our meetings; we just talk about what needs to be done before the next deadline hits. Sometimes we stay late when something big is going on, and we just order some food and keep typing. We are just a bunch of regular people who happen to work on a website. There is no corporate polish here, just a lot of work and occasionally arguing about which story matters more today. It is just life in the newsroom.
