This office for Indiatimes Travel is tucked away at D-1C/76-B in AK Puri. It’s a typical New Delhi street where everyone knows each other. We handle a lot of the travel bookings and inquiries from this specific branch. The space isn't very large, but we’ve managed to fit all the necessary desks and filing cabinets inside. It gets pretty busy during the holiday seasons when everyone is looking to go somewhere at the same time. We spend most of our hours looking at screens and talking to airlines or hotels. The office has a very lived-in feel to it, with stacks of paper and the sound of the printer going off constantly. AK Puri is a decent place to work out of, though parking can be a headache if you come late in the morning. We just try to get through the daily list of bookings without any major glitches. It’s a very manual process sometimes, even with the computers. We’ve been here for a while and have a regular routine that keeps the business running. It’s just us doing the daily work of travel planning in a quiet corner of the city. We don't have a big sign but once you find the house number it is easy. The staff stays busy with the phones and the tea kettle is always on.
