Our office is on the first floor at A 34 in Hari Naggers, right by the Clock Tower. If you’ve been to this part of New Delhi, you know the Clock Tower is the main landmark around here. It’s a busy area with a lot of shops and people moving about. We’ve been here at Indiatimes Travel for a while now. The stairs up to the first floor are a bit steep, so we all get our exercise just coming to work. Inside, it’s just a regular workspace with some old desks and plenty of notebooks. We don’t have anything very fancy. The windows look out onto the street, so we can see everything that’s happening down below. Sometimes we get distracted by the markets, but we usually stay focused on the work. We handle a lot of different things throughout the day, mostly related to travel plans and documents. It’s a lot of double-checking names and dates. If the power goes, we just open the windows to let the breeze in and keep going. We don’t have a big marketing team or anything like that. It’s just us answering the phones and typing away. We try to be helpful when people call in with problems. It’s not always easy, but we do what we can with what we have. It’s a plain, honest way to spend the workday in a busy neighborhood.
