About Indianairlines Call Center – Tourism in Delhi
Our call center is over in Govindpuri, right in the Kalkaji area of New Delhi. It is located at 247/3 and it is a pretty busy place most hours of the day and night. If you have ever been to this part of Delhi, you know it is always moving and there is never a dull moment. We sit in a room with our headsets on, talking to people from all over the country. Most people are calling because they have a serious problem with a flight or they just cannot find their ticket in their email. We listen to a lot of frustrated voices, but we just try to stay calm and find the right information in the system for them. The computers are a bit old and sometimes they take a minute to load the flight paths. We have our breaks in a small back room with a kettle for making tea. It is not a glamorous job, but it is important to help people get where they are going. Sometimes the lines are so busy that we do not even have time to look up from the screen for several hours. We talk about everything from baggage weights to gate changes. By the time the shift is finally over, our ears are usually ringing a bit. It is just a bunch of us working hard to keep the airline moving from this little office in Govindpuri. (248 words)
