Indian Spinal Injuries Center

We operate out of a LIG DDA flat over in Badarpur. It’s flat number 49. It’s a bit of a different setup than what you might expect for a center like ours, but it’s what we have and it works for what we do. The neighborhood is mostly families and people just going about their daily lives. In the mornings, you can hear the kids heading to school and the vendors shouting on the street. Inside, it’s a bit more quiet. We spend a lot of time organizing things and making sure people get what they need. The space is a little tight, especially when we have a lot of visitors or deliveries coming in. We’ve got our desks pushed up against the walls to make more room in the middle. It’s not some polished glass office in a high-rise, just a regular flat in New Delhi. We’ve been at this address for some time now and everyone around here knows where we are. Sometimes the power goes out and we just sit and wait or talk for a bit until it comes back on. It’s just the reality of working in this part of town. We don’t have any fancy signs or big displays. It’s just a place where the work gets done and we try to help out as best as we can with the space we’ve got for the staff and patients.
