Our office is tucked away in Kamal Vihar, over in Karawal Nagar. It’s a busy spot, especially with all the train stuff we have to handle. Most people know the name because of the trains, but here at A-164, it’s mostly about the day-to-day paperwork and making sure the catering side of things stays on track. It gets pretty hectic when the holiday season starts and everyone wants to travel. We have desks piled high with forms and computers that seem to have a mind of their own sometimes. The staff here mostly lives nearby, so we walk or take a rickshaw to work. It’s not a quiet office; there’s always someone talking on the phone or a delivery guy bringing in supplies. We spend a lot of time checking lists and making sure the food orders are right. Karawal Nagar is a bit far out for some, but for us, it’s just where we go every morning. We don’t have fancy furniture or big meeting rooms, just chairs and tables and a lot of work to get through. Sometimes the internet slows down and we all just sit around for a minute until it comes back. It’s a regular job, and we just try to get the tickets and the meals sorted so the trains can keep moving. We’ve been at this location for a while now, and everyone in the neighborhood knows where we are and what we do for the railways.
