Indian Ocean Cruises Limited is tucked away in Woodbury Towers, up on the 11th floor in Charmwood Village, Faridabad. It’s a bit of a drive from the main parts of Delhi, but Surajkund is a quieter area which we quite like. From this office, we manage a lot of the details for trips out on the water. It’s mostly computers, phones, and a lot of maps spread out on the tables. We spend our days talking to people about boat schedules and making sure the supplies are ordered for the ships. The view from the 11th floor is actually quite good when the air is clear. We don't have a showroom with models of ships or anything like that. It’s just a functional office where the team sits together and works through the bookings. Sometimes it gets a bit loud when we’re all on the phone at once. We’ve been in this Haryana location for a while now and have gotten used to the rhythm of the building. It’s not a corporate headquarters with glass walls; it’s just a regular workspace with some posters on the walls and plenty of coffee mugs. We just aim to get the logistics right so the cruises go off without any problems. It’s steady work and we enjoy the practical side of planning these journeys for people. We aren't sailors ourselves, but we know how to handle the paperwork properly.
