Indian Journey

Indian Journey is our small travel outfit. We’re over at Gaffar Manzil, near Jamia Millia University in Okhla. The office is on the 1st floor of the Queen Apartment building. Anees Ahmad is the one usually running things here. It’s a bit of a tight space because we have so many brochures and maps and files everywhere. Being near the university means it’s always lively outside with students and traffic. We spend most of our time on the phone or on the computer, booking things and checking schedules. It’s a bit of a mess sometimes, with papers piled up on the desks, but we know where everything is. We don’t have a fancy storefront with big displays. Most people find us through word of mouth or by just coming to the apartment. We’ve been here in New Delhi for a long time and we know the city inside out. The office feels more like a home than a corporate space. We sit around, drink chai, and figure out how to get people from one place to another. We aren't a big travel agency with a huge staff. It’s just a few of us who really like talking about trips and planning routes. It’s a simple life, and we enjoy the bustle of Okhla. If you’re in the neighborhood near Jamia, you can’t miss the building once you know where to look. We are usually here through the week, sorting out tickets and talking to drivers on the phone.
