Our location is at H No.292, Duggal Lodge in Mukherji Nagar. We are part of Indian Hotels Company Limited, but here at this specific house, it feels much more local. If you know Delhi, you know this part of town is usually full of students and people studying for exams. Our building is a bit older and has that lived-in feel. We provide rooms for people who are staying in the city, and since we are in Mukherji Nagar, we see a lot of young people and their families. It’s a very practical kind of place. We don't have fancy lobbies or gold-plated anything. We focus on making sure the beds are okay and the bathrooms work. The staff here is just a few of us who manage the daily chores like changing sheets and checking people in. It can get pretty busy around here during the peak seasons when everyone is moving into the area. Sometimes the street outside is so loud with traffic that you can barely hear yourself think, but that is just Delhi life for you. We don't try to pretend to be something we aren't. We are just a local lodging house helping people have a place to stay while they do what they need to do in the city. We’ve been at Duggal Lodge for a while and we know the quirks of the building, like which doors creak and which windows get the best light. It’s just home for us.
