We are over in Shadipur, right at D-1 25 in Sanjay Park. It’s a busy little office where we spend most of our day on the phone or looking at train schedules. New Delhi - 08 is a crowded area, so there is always something going on outside our door. We mostly help people figure out where they want to go for their time off. It isn't a huge operation with fancy computers. It’s mostly just us at our desks with a lot of paper and notes everywhere. We’ve known the neighbors for years. Sometimes people come in just to ask for directions or talk about their last trip. We don't try to sell people stuff they don't need. If a bus is going to be late, we tell them. It’s better to be honest about how travel works in India. My brother started this because he liked seeing different places, and now we just keep it going. The office gets a bit dusty because of the road nearby, so we are always wiping down the tables. It’s a simple setup. We have a few maps on the wall that are starting to peel at the edges. We aren't trying to be the biggest agency out there. We just want to get the bookings right so people don't have problems when they reach the station. It's just us and our phones, keeping things moving for whoever walks in.
