Indian Holiday Mantra

Our office is over in Jhandewalan, right in the thick of things. It's not hard to find if you know the area. We mostly spend our days looking at train schedules and trying to make sense of hotel bookings for people who want to go away for a few days. It's just a regular spot where we drink tea and handle the phones. We started Indian Holiday Mantra because we know how confusing it can be to plan a trip when you've got a big family. It’s loud around here sometimes because of the traffic outside in Jhandewalan, but we don't mind much. We've got maps pinned up and a lot of old folders with notes from previous years. People come in with all sorts of questions about where to stay or which train is the fastest. We don't have a big corporate team, just a few of us who know the routes and the prices. Sometimes the internet is slow and we have to wait a bit to confirm things, but we get it done. It’s a practical business. We aren't trying to sell anyone a dream, just trying to help them get from one place to another without too much trouble. It's honest work and it keeps us busy from morning until evening. Most of our regulars live nearby and just stop by to say hello while they're out running errands. It feels like a community thing more than anything else.
