Indian Habitat Center, Lodhi Road, Delhi

I’m Indrajeet Kumar Singh, and you can find me at D-128 in the Ganeshnagar Complex. This is part of Pandawnagar in New Delhi-92. It’s a bit of a maze here sometimes with all the different blocks. The Indian Habitat Center, Lodhi Road, Delhi name is what we go by for the work we do here. The office is tucked inside the complex, so it stays a bit cooler than the main street. We have a few desks and some filing cabinets that have seen better days. It’s a busy spot, especially in the afternoons when everyone is out and about. We don’t have a big team, just a few of us making sure everything stays on track. The complex is always full of people, so there’s never a dull moment. Sometimes the mail gets mixed up because the numbers are close together, so we spend a bit of time talking to the neighbors to straighten things out. It’s a very grounded way to work. No one is wearing expensive suits here. We just wear what’s comfortable and get to it. The windows look out onto the inner courtyard of Ganeshnagar. It’s not a view of the park, but you see the real life of the city from here. We just keep our heads down and handle the paperwork as it comes in. There is always a lot to do, but we just take it one pile at a time.
