You can find us at 1103 Paiwalain, right across from Gate Number 3 of the Jama Masjid Police Station. It’s a very busy part of town and there’s always something going on outside on the street. Our shop is full of glass, as you might expect from the name. We have to be really careful moving around inside because there isn't much space and everything is fragile. It’s a bit of a maze in here with all the wooden crates and large sheets of glass leaning against the walls. We spend a lot of time cutting and measuring things to size. It’s a dusty job and our clothes are usually covered in it by the end of the shift. The noise from the street is constant—horns, people shouting, and the general bustle of the market area. We don't have a quiet office to retreat to. We just work right there in the thick of it all. Sometimes a customer comes in with a broken piece they need matched, and we spend time digging through the stock to find the right thing for them. It’s not a glamorous job at all. We have to be on our feet most of the day. The building is quite old and the lighting isn't the best, but we know where everything is kept. We’ve been at this spot for a while and we know most of the other shopkeepers nearby. It’s just a normal day of work for us.
