We are tucked away in the Vikaspuri area of New Delhi, at address C-379. This is a residential block, so it doesn't feel like a typical busy airline office. Most people around here are just going about their daily lives, shopping at the local markets or heading to work. Being in New Delhi-18 means we are right in the middle of a very crowded and lively part of the city. The office is on the ground floor of the building. It’s a bit cramped with all the files and the old computer monitors we still have lying around. We spend the day answering the phones and trying to help people with their travel plans. The walls are a bit yellowed from the years, and the ceiling fan makes a clicking sound that we’ve all just learned to ignore. Parking a car anywhere near C-379 is almost impossible, so most of us come by rickshaw or scooter. It’s a very functional space without any bells or whistles. Sometimes it gets a bit chaotic when the phones all ring at once, but mostly it’s just a steady stream of paperwork. We’ve been in Vikaspuri for a long time. It’s not the most modern office in the world, but it’s where we do our work every day. We stay busy with the files and the phone calls from morning until we close up.
