Indian Airlines

Our office is over in Santacruz East, specifically at Flat Number 6 on the third floor. We’re right on Kalina Main Road, which is almost always packed with traffic. It’s easy to spot if you look for Dr. Sherekar Hospital because we are right across from it. Working for Indian Airlines from this spot in Mumbai means there’s never a quiet moment. The sounds of the street and the constant horns come right up to the third floor. Inside, it’s a bit cramped with all the desks and equipment we need for the airline operations. We’ve been here for years, and the walls show a bit of that age, but it works for us. There’s no elevator in this particular part of the building, so everyone gets their exercise climbing up to the third floor. We have a small kitchen area where we make tea and chat during breaks. Most of the work involves coordinating schedules and handling a lot of documents. It’s a very plain office, just functional. We don’t go in for fancy decorations or anything. The 400029 area is very busy, so lunch is usually just something quick from a nearby stall. We just keep our heads down and get the work done. It’s a typical Mumbai office—busy, a bit loud, and full of people trying to keep everything on schedule. We might get a bit tired by Friday, but we always start fresh on Monday morning.
