Indian Airlines

The office is at A-5, Anupam Enclave, which is over in Saidulajab Extension. It’s a bit of a quiet spot in New Delhi - 30 compared to the main roads. We’ve been running Indian Airlines operations from here for a good while. The space is a bit small, so things can get crowded when we have more than a couple of visitors at once. We have these big filing cabinets that take up half the room. They are full of old records and manuals that nobody really looks at anymore, but we keep them anyway. The light in the office is a bit dim in the evenings, but we have some desk lamps that help. Working here means we see a lot of the same faces every day, like the postman and the lady who brings the milk. We don't have a big corporate lobby or a receptionist in a suit. Usually, whoever is closest to the door just looks up and says hello. The neighborhood has changed a lot since we first moved in, with more buildings going up every year. It’s a lot of typing and answering the same questions about baggage and flight times. We keep a calendar on the wall with all the important dates circled in red ink. Sometimes we forget to change the page until the middle of the month. It’s just a normal, everyday office where we try to stay on top of things without making too much of a fuss for ourselves.
