You can find us at Flat No 47 in Samarpan Kunj, which is Plot No 6 in Pocket No 21, Nasirpur, Dwarka. It’s a bit of a mouthful to say the address, but once you are in Dwarka, it’s easy to navigate the pockets. Our office is on one of the upper floors of the apartment complex. We deal with the airline's ground stuff and administrative tasks from here. It’s a very domestic setting. There are clothes drying on the balconies nearby and you can hear the planes from the airport taking off every few minutes. It reminds us of why we are doing this work. The rooms are filled with folders and old computer towers. We don't have a fancy lounge for visitors. If you come by, you’ll probably just sit on a spare chair near the window. We spend our days tracking numbers and making sure the staff schedules are sorted out. It’s a lot of staring at spreadsheets and talking on the phone with people at the terminal. The light in the flat is quite good in the mornings, which makes the early shifts easier. We keep a stock of biscuits and tea in the cupboard because the days can get long. It’s not the glamorous side of aviation, just the necessary paperwork and coordination that keeps things moving behind the scenes. We like the quiet of the residential pocket compared to the noisy terminal.
