About Indian Airlines Travel Process – Tourism in Delhi
Our workspace is at B 395 in Nehru Vihar, Delhi. This is one of those neighborhoods where everyone seems to know everyone else's business. The building is a standard residential-style structure that has been converted for office use. We’re tucked away on one of the side streets, so it’s not as loud as being on the main road, but you still hear the neighborhood sounds. There are kids playing outside sometimes and the sound of the local vendors calling out their goods. Inside, it’s a bit of a maze of desks and cables. We handle a lot of the travel processing work here, so there is always a lot of data entry happening. The lighting isn't the best, but we've got enough lamps to see what we're doing. It’s a very straightforward place to work. We don’t have any fancy art on the walls or a coffee machine that makes lattes. We just have a kettle and some tea bags in the corner. People who work here have been doing this for a long time, so there’s a lot of institutional knowledge floating around the room. We just put our heads down and get through the files. It’s a steady pace of work, and we try to keep things moving so nothing gets backed up. It's just a regular Delhi office life for us in Nehru Vihar. We usually head home once the streetlights come on and the traffic starts to settle.
