About Indian Airlines Call Centre – Tourism in Delhi
We are located in Darya Ganj, which is always crowded. The office is at 3318B, on the second floor of Kucha Jalal Bukhari. If you know Darya Ganj, you know how narrow the lanes are. It’s an old part of New Delhi. We handle calls for Indian Airlines here. It gets very noisy with all the phones ringing at once. The building is old and the stairs are a bit steep. We spend our shifts talking to people about flights and tickets. It’s a lot of repetitive work, but someone has to do it. The second floor is where we all sit together. We have headsets and old desks. Sometimes the fans make more noise than the people. We go downstairs for tea at the local stall during breaks. Darya Ganj has good food nearby. That's a plus. We’ve been in Kucha Jalal Bukhari for quite some time now. It’s not a fancy glass building like the new ones in Gurgaon. It’s just a regular old Delhi office space. We deal with angry passengers and confused travelers every day. We just try to give them the information they need. It’s a busy life. The shift work can be tiring. But we are a tight group here. We know the rhythm of the calls. That's how it goes at the call centre day in and day out. We just keep answering.
