About Indian Airlines Call Center – Tourism in Delhi
Our small spot in Ghaziabad is where we handle the calls for the airline. It is usually pretty loud because someone is always talking to a passenger about a delayed flight or a lost bag. We have rows of desks and everyone wears headsets for most of the day. Sometimes the air conditioning doesn't work as well as it should, especially in the middle of summer, but we just keep going. People call us from all over the country, and half the time they are frustrated because their plans changed at the last minute. We do our best to find them another seat or explain the refund rules, which aren't always easy to understand. Between calls, we usually chat about what we are having for dinner or complain about the traffic on the way in from other parts of Delhi. The office is close to the border, so some of us have a long commute every morning. We go through a lot of paper printing out flight schedules that end up changing anyway. It isn't a glamorous job, but it is important to help folks figure out where they are supposed to be. If the systems go down, we all just sit there and wait, hoping the tech guys fix it fast. Most days are just a blur of flight numbers and city codes, but we manage to get through it together as a team without making too much of a fuss about it.
