Indian Airforce

This office is located in Palam Colony, specifically over in Raj Nagar-II at Rzg-262. New Delhi is a crowded place, and this area near the airport is no different. We are part of the Indian Airforce setup here. It’s a working office, so there’s always a lot of paperwork moving around. You’ll see people in uniform and some in regular clothes too. It isn’t a base with planes landing in the backyard, just a spot where the administrative side of things happens. We deal with various tasks throughout the day. The street outside is usually full of people and shops. It’s a bit noisy, but we are used to it by now. Inside, we have our desks and filing cabinets. We try to keep things organized but sometimes the piles of documents get a bit high. It’s an old building, so it has its quirks, like the way the door sticks in the summer heat. We’ve been here in Delhi-45 for a long time. People come in with questions or looking for certain departments. We do our best to point them the right way. It’s steady work. We aren't here to impress anyone with fancy furniture. We just have a job to do for the force and we do it from this corner of Raj Nagar. The tea guy comes by twice a day, which is the highlight for most of us. We just keep our heads down and get through the files.
