Indian Airforce

We are located over at G-15 in the Police Colony, which is right in Mehram Nagar. Being so close to the Domestic Airport means we hear planes taking off and landing all day long. You get used to the noise after a while. This is a bit of a specific spot for the Indian Airforce to have a presence, and it’s mostly just a practical office for handling local matters. It’s not a grand military base like you might see in the movies. It’s a regular building in a residential-feeling colony. We spend our days dealing with various administrative tasks and coordinating things that need to get done. The streets in Mehram Nagar can be a bit narrow, so getting in and out sometimes takes a minute if there’s a truck blocking the way. We’ve got a small team here, and we all know each other well. It’s the kind of place where you bring your own lunch and sit around the desk talking about the weather or the traffic on the way in. We aren't here to impress anyone with fancy offices or big signs. We just have our work to do, and being near the airport makes sense for what we handle. It’s a busy part of New Delhi, but once you’re inside the colony, it feels a bit more settled. We just keep our heads down and get through the list of things to do every day. The office is usually full of the smell of tea and old paper, which is just how it is.
