Indian Air Force

This is the spot at Rock View 6, right inside the Air Force Station in Palam. It’s part of the Indian Air Force setup here in New Delhi 110010. Being on a station like this means things follow a pretty strict routine every day. We aren't some public shop or anything, just a working office that handles the tasks assigned to us. There is always the sound of engines in the distance, which you just get used to after a week or so. Our building is pretty plain, just a solid place where we keep the logs and do the administrative work. Most of us here have been doing this for a long time, so we know the drills. It’s not about being fancy; it’s about getting the reports finished and making sure the supplies are where they need to be. We drink our tea together in the mornings and then get to it. Palam is a busy area, but once you are inside the gates at Rock View, it’s all about the job at hand. We don't spend much time worrying about how the office looks. As long as the desks are functional and the files are in order, we are good to go. It’s just life on the base, really. We see the same people every day and we all know what needs to happen before the day ends. We just keep our heads down and get through the stack of paperwork.
