This office is tucked away in a DDA Flat, number 384 in Pocket 13, over in Phase I of Mangalapuri. It’s a quiet residential area, which makes for a calm place to get through all the paperwork we have to deal with every day. While the name might sound big, this specific spot is just a small hub where we handle local administrative tasks. We’ve got a couple of desks, some old filing cabinets, and a lot of forms that need filling out. Most of our morning is spent sorting through mail and making sure the records are up to date. People from the neighborhood sometimes pop in with questions, and we do what we can to help them out without making things too complicated. It’s a government environment, so there are certain ways things have to be done, but we try to keep it relaxed and friendly for anyone who walks in. The tea guy comes by twice a day, and that’s usually when we take a short break to talk about things other than work. We aren't here to impress anyone with a fancy lobby; we just want to make sure the files are in order and the daily tasks get finished before we head home. It’s a steady, predictable kind of job in a part of New Delhi that feels like a real community. We just stick to our routine and keep the records straight.
