Indiamart Intermesh Ltd

We are over here in Lajpat Nagar IV, right on the second floor of one of those old double-storey buildings. It's number 7/14 if you are looking for it. The stairs are a bit narrow, but we’ve been here for a while now. Most days it’s just us doing our thing at Indiamart Intermesh Ltd, trying to keep up with everything. This part of Delhi is always busy, you know how it is. Traffic is a nightmare sometimes but being in South Delhi helps. We started small. There's a lot of paperwork usually piled up and the tea guy comes around twice a day which is the highlight for most of us. We aren't trying to do anything fancy, just working through the lists and making sure the connections happen like they are supposed to. Sometimes the internet acts up, or the power goes for a bit, but we just keep going. It gets hot in the summer because these older buildings don't always stay cool, but we have the fans running constantly. We’ve seen the neighborhood change quite a bit over the years. New shops open up downstairs and then close a few months later. We are still here though. Just a group of people in a regular office trying to get the job done before the evening rush starts on the main road. The walls could use a new coat of paint. There’s a calendar from three years ago still hanging in the corner. If you walk past, you might not even notice the sign, but we are up there on that second floor. We don't have a lobby, so you just come straight in. It's usually a bit of a mess with papers everywhere, but we know where everything is.
