India Travels

Our small team stays busy over here in Suneja Tower at the Janakpuri District Centre. If you have been to building 207, you know how the elevators can be a bit slow in the morning, so we usually just take the stairs to get to work. India Travels is basically just a few rooms filled with desks and old filing cabinets that have seen better days. We spend a lot of time on the phone or typing away at the keyboards. The view from the window isn't much, just the other buildings and the parking lot downstairs, but the light is good in the afternoon. People from the nearby offices often drop by to chat or ask for some help with their travel plans. We keep a pot of tea going most of the day because it helps when the phone won't stop ringing. The walls are mostly bare, maybe a few old posters of places we’ve sent people to over the years. We don't really have a big reception area, so visitors just pull up a chair next to whoever is free. It’s a messy place sometimes with all the paper and ticket stubs lying around. We try to keep things moving along even when the internet goes out for a bit. It’s just how things go for us here in Janakpuri. We've been in this same spot for a while now. There is always a lot to do before we head home.
