The office for India Tourism Development Corporation here in Najafgarh is situated at Rz-111 in J-Block. It’s a bit of a trek from the main city center, but Dharampura is a lively area once you get used to it. We don’t have those massive glass windows you see in the corporate parks. Our place is more practical, like a regular house converted into a workspace. There are files everywhere because we still do a lot of things on paper. People from the local neighborhood often stop by to ask about government schemes or tourism bits, and we do our best to help them out. The lighting in the back room is a bit dim, but we mostly work in the front where the sun comes in. It’s a quiet routine most days. We arrive around ten, clean up the desks, and start going through the mail. There’s a big tree outside that provides some shade for the scooters. We don't really have a cafeteria, so we all bring tiffin boxes from home and eat together at the big table. It’s not the kind of place where people wear suits every day. We just dress simple and get on with the tasks. It feels more like a community spot than a big office sometimes. We’ve been at this address for years and everyone around here knows where to find us.
