The office for India Times Travel is tucked away in Majlis Park. If you know the Azadpur area, you know how hectic Street No. 2 can get. We operate out of B-562/1 and it’s usually quite a scramble every morning. Most days involve us sitting at our desks, answering the phone, and trying to figure out the best routes for people. Traveling today is a lot more complicated than it used to be, and there is always some paperwork or a booking that needs extra attention. We aren't a big fancy operation with marble floors. It’s just a regular office with computers and files everywhere. Sometimes the tea guy comes by and that’s the highlight of the afternoon. We talk to a lot of people from around the neighborhood who want to visit family or go on a short trip. New Delhi is a fast place, and we try to keep up with it as much as we can. It’s not always easy, and sometimes the internet goes down or a client gets frustrated, but we manage. We’ve been at this address for a bit and the locals know where to find us. It’s a straightforward job, really. We help with tickets and plans and try to make sure everything is in order before someone leaves. It keeps us busy from Monday to Saturday, and we wouldn't have it any other way.
