We are based in one of the DDA flats in Kalkaji, specifically L-2/36 B. It’s a typical New Delhi neighborhood where everyone knows each other’s business. The office is small and a bit cramped with all the travel brochures and filing cabinets we’ve collected over the years. Veronica Lal is usually here making sure everything is in order. You can hear the sounds of the street from the window, cars honking and kids playing outside. We have a small electric kettle for making tea, which we do about five times a day. The furniture is nothing special, just some old chairs and a big wooden table. It gets quite dusty during the dry months, so we are always wiping things down. We don't have a big neon sign outside, just a small nameplate near the door. People often miss it the first time they visit. The stairs up to the flat are a bit narrow, so you have to be careful. We spend most of our day checking schedules and talking to airlines. It’s a lot of staring at screens and writing down flight numbers. We’ve been in this part of Delhi for a long time now. It’s a decent place to work and it keeps us busy from morning until late evening. There is always a pile of newspapers on the corner table for anyone waiting for their tickets.
