India Market

We operate out of Flat B3 in Lajpat Nagar, located on the first floor. This is in New Delhi -25. Being in Lajpat Nagar means we are right in the middle of all the noise and energy of the city. The market is just a short walk away, so there are always people moving about and vendors shouting their prices for clothes or food. Our office at India Market is actually a flat that we converted into a workspace. It gives it a very homey feel, though it is usually packed with boxes and papers everywhere. We have a small balcony where we keep some plants, but they get quite dusty from the city air and the traffic below. The rooms are a bit small and we have to squeeze past each other's chairs sometimes. It is a lively place to work because you can hear the sounds of the street all day long. We don't really have a reception desk or anything formal. You just walk in and someone will be sitting there at a desk. We drink a lot of coffee to keep going through the afternoon slump. The electrical wiring is a bit old so we are careful about how many things we plug in at once. It is a typical Delhi setup where space is tight but we make it work. Most of us have worked together for years so it feels more like a family than a company. We like being in Lajpat Nagar because everything you need is right there.
