Our office is over in Village Lado Sarai at F283/A. It’s a bit of a walk from the main road, but it’s a nice enough area once you get used to the narrow lanes. We’ve been doing this travel work for a while now. The team is small, just a few of us who have known each other for years. We handle a lot of the travel arrangements that people need for their trips. It’s mostly sitting at desks and talking to people on the phone. We don't have a big flashy sign or a lobby with a fountain. It’s just a room with some computers and a lot of paper files stacked in the corners. Sometimes the village dogs hang out near the entrance, and they are friendly enough. We drink a lot of tea while we work. The internet can be a bit slow in this part of New Delhi, so we have to be patient when we are booking things. We don’t do any big promotions. Most people find us because they live nearby or a friend told them we could help out. It gets pretty busy during the holiday seasons, and we end up staying late to make sure all the tickets are printed and ready. We just try to be practical and get the work done without any extra fuss. It’s a simple life here in Lado Sarai and we enjoy the local feel of the neighborhood.
