India International Centre

Our spot is Flat E-3 in the Yamuna Apartments out here in New Delhi. It’s actually listed under Haryana 110062 but we’re right on that border area. Working out of an apartment feels different than a big glass building. It is quieter, usually. We have the usual office stuff like printers that jam and chairs that creak a little bit. The light in the morning is quite nice coming through the balcony. We’ve been here at India International Centre for some time now. Some days it is just silent work, and other days the phone won't stop ringing. The security guards at the gate know us pretty well by now since we are always getting deliveries. We usually grab lunch from the small shops nearby or just bring stuff from home. There is a lot of green around the apartment complex which is a nice break from the city dust. Sometimes the lift stops working and we have to walk up, which isn't great in the summer heat. We don't have a big reception desk or anything like that. It’s just a flat where we get things done. We try to keep the files in order but sometimes they pile up on the dining table. It is a practical way to run things. We like being in a residential area because it feels a bit more like home.
