India Habitat World Centre

Our place is tucked away in Sangam Vihar, specifically on Street No.12 near the Wednesday Market. If you know this area, you know how crowded it gets, especially on the days when the market is in full swing. We are at L-1 Home No. 1565, right near Devli Village. It is a bit of a maze back here in these streets, but we have been at this spot for a long time. The India Habitat World Centre name might sound like it belongs in a different, more polished part of the city, but this is where we do the actual work. It is not a shiny glass building at all. We just have our desks and some chairs and a lot of folders. Sometimes the electricity goes out and we have to wait a bit for it to come back, but that is just part of living in Delhi. We handle things as they come. People walk in all the time asking for directions since the streets are so narrow and confusing for visitors. We do not mind helping them out. It is a tight-knit community here. The noise from the street is always there, but you get used to it after a week or two. We keep things simple and do not try to be something we are not. It is just us working out of this home-office setup. We have a small crew and we all live nearby. It makes getting to work easy.
