India Habitat Centre

My name is Sachin Kumar Srivastava and I’m involved with the India Habitat Centre. My actual place is at Rzf 8, Gali No 21 B in Sadh Nagar II, which is in the Palam Colony area of New Delhi. The zip code is 110045. It’s a very crowded part of the city. There are houses and shops all built right next to each other. I spend a lot of my time traveling between here and the main center. The traffic in Delhi is always a bit of a nightmare, so I have to leave early most mornings. Sadh Nagar has a lot of energy, even if it’s a bit noisy at night. My house is where I do a lot of my planning and keep all my records. It’s not a big corporate headquarters, just a home office where I get things done. I’ve lived in this colony for a while and I know the guys at the corner shop pretty well. We talk about the weather or how the local roads are being dug up again. Working with the India Habitat Centre means I meet a lot of different people, but I always come back to Palam. It’s a long way from the fancy parts of New Delhi, but it’s home to me. I just try to keep things organized and make sure I’m doing my part for the organization. It’s honest work and it keeps me busy.
