Our location at H.No. 269/1, Masita House in Thanesar is where we handle things. It’s a bit away from the main hub people usually associate with the India Habitat Center name, but this Kurukshetra spot is important for us. It’s actually a regular house that we’ve converted into a working space. Thanesar is a place with a lot of history, and you can feel that just walking down the street. Our office is pretty basic inside. We have some tables, some chairs, and a lot of files stacked up. It’s not a fancy cultural hub here; it’s more of the administrative side of things. We deal with the day-to-day paperwork and coordination for the region. The atmosphere is very quiet compared to the big cities. We have a small garden area in the front that we try to keep up, though the Haryana heat makes it tough during the summer months. We see the same faces every day, and it’s a friendly kind of place. We don’t have big events or exhibitions here. It’s mostly just us keeping the wheels turning. Sometimes the power goes out, which is common here, and we just wait it out or work by the light from the window. It’s a slow and steady pace of life. We like it because we can actually focus on the work without too many distractions. It feels like a real part of the town. We just do what we need to do.
