In Knight Restuarant In C.P New Delhi

People usually find us over here at Kath Mandi in Samalkha. It is a busy spot with all the timber merchants around and trucks coming in and out all day. We started In Knight Restuarant to give folks a place to sit down and eat something while they do their business. The address is actually listed with M/S Amar Singh Ram Kishan Timber Merchant, so we are right in the middle of that whole wood market scene. It gets pretty dusty out there on the road, but inside it is a bit quieter. Some days the lunch rush is just non-stop and we are all running around trying to keep up with the orders. My family has been around Panipat for a long time so we know most of the guys working in the mandi. We don’t have any fancy posters or big signs, just a simple setup where you can get your meal. Most people come for the same thing every day and they don't even need to look at a menu. We just know what they want when they walk through the door. The weather gets really hot in the summer here and the fans are always going full speed. Sometimes the power goes out and we just have to make do. It is just how things are in this part of town. We spend a lot of time cleaning the tables and making sure things are ready for the next day.
