In Fast Trax As A Shift Manager

Being a shift manager here at In Fast Trax is a lot of work every single day. We don’t really have a fixed street address listed in the files right now, which might seem a bit odd to some people. Mostly, we are just moving around and making sure the shifts are covered and everything is running like it should. It’s a fast-paced environment and you really don't get much time to sit down and relax. I spend a lot of my day checking on the staff and making sure no one is running behind. Some mornings are harder than others, especially when someone calls in sick at the last minute. We just have to figure it out as we go along. It is a lot of responsibility to keep the tracks moving. I’ve been doing this for a bit and you get used to the chaos after a while. We don’t have a fancy office to sit in, so we just work wherever the action is. It's not the kind of job where you wear a suit and tie. It’s more about being on the ground and seeing what needs to be fixed right then and there. We just focus on the work and try to get through the day without too many problems. It's honest work and it keeps us very busy. We take things as they come.
