Ihg Group (Crowne Plaza, Today, Gurgaon)

Our setup for Ihg Group (Crowne Plaza, Today, Gurgaon) is actually located at 63/15, Sector 1, Pusphvihar Saket, New Delhi. It’s a bit of a distance from the actual hotel in Gurgaon, but this is where we handle a lot of the administrative tasks. The office is in a residential sector, so it feels more like a house than a workplace. We have some desks pushed against the walls and a lot of wires running across the floor for the printers and computers. Saket is a nice enough area, though parking near Sector 1 is almost impossible most days. We usually just take an auto-rickshaw to get here. There’s a park nearby where we sometimes sit for ten minutes to get some fresh air. The office itself is nothing fancy. We have a calendar on the wall that is usually a month behind and a water cooler that leaks a little bit. We deal with bookings and guest inquiries all day long. It can be repetitive, but we have a good group of people here so we joke around to pass the time. We don't use any big corporate talk; we just answer the questions people have and try to keep the records straight. It’s a very standard office life with plenty of tea breaks and a lot of staring at computer monitors. We've been in this Saket location for quite a while now and know the area well.
