Igi Airport

Our office for Igi Airport is actually located in Vikaspuri, not at the runways. We are in A-303 on the 3rd floor. It’s a bit of a climb if the lift isn't working that day, which happens more than we'd like. Vikaspuri is a lively area with lots of markets and families everywhere. We handle things related to the airport operations from this room. It’s mostly just logistics and managing schedules on the computer. The third-floor view isn't much to look at, just other grey buildings and the tops of some dusty trees. We have a few old desks and a lot of files piled up in the corner. It’s a working office, not a fancy showroom for guests. We don't have expensive furniture or a receptionist sitting at the front. Usually, whoever is closest to the door just looks up to see who it is. We spend a lot of our day on the phone or typing away at the keyboards. It gets very quiet in the afternoons when the sun hits the windows. We drink a lot of strong coffee to stay awake during those slow parts. People often get confused by our name and think they need to go to the terminal, but we are definitely here in the suburbs. It’s a much more relaxed environment than the actual airport grounds. We just focus on our own tasks and try to stay organized as best as we can.
