You can find us at Idbi Bank Ltd. over in Mayur Vihar Phase III at B2/201 and 202. This part of Delhi is always crowded, and our building is no different. We spend our days behind the counters or at the desks handling whatever comes through the door. It’s a lot of paperwork and people asking questions. The air conditioning works most of the time, which is a relief in the summer. We have a small team here, and we all know each other’s habits by now. Some people are early birds and get here before the shutters even go up, while others are better at staying late to finish the end-of-day tallies. The space isn't very large, so it can feel a bit cramped when there are a lot of visitors waiting around. We don't have any of those modern open-plan layouts you see in magazines. It’s just traditional desks and partitions. Sometimes the printers jam or the system goes slow, and we just have to deal with it as it happens. We see a lot of the same people from the neighborhood every week. It’s a steady kind of life. We focus on the numbers and making sure the records are right. There isn't much time for anything else. It’s a functional space where the main goal is just to finish the day's work without any errors. It gets pretty quiet right before we lock up the doors for the night.
