Icon-The Grand New Delhi

Icon-The Grand New Delhi is tucked away in Laxmi Nagar. We are specifically on Street 03 in Garhwali Mohalla. It is a very crowded part of New Delhi but that makes it interesting. Our building is easy to find once you get onto the main street. We have rooms for guests who need a place to stay in this part of town. It is a local business and we run it simply. There are shops all around us so it gets quite noisy during the day. We don't have a huge lobby like the big chains. It is more of a practical place to sleep. The rooms are basic but we try to keep them tidy for whoever arrives. Street 03 can be a bit tight for cars sometimes. We’ve been here for a bit now and know the neighbors. The staff is just a few of us who live nearby. We don't have a fancy website or a marketing team. If you walk in, we show you a room and that’s that. Sometimes the electricity flickers in this neighborhood but we have a backup generator for the lights. We spend our mornings cleaning and our evenings checking people in. It is a straightforward way to earn a living. The walls could probably use a new coat of paint soon but they are clean. We just do our best with what we have here in Laxmi Nagar. It’s a real place for real people and we hope they sleep okay.
