Our workplace is at J-1913 in Chittaranjan Park, right here in New Delhi. Icms Cargo & Travel Links has been around for some time, and being in C.R. Park gives us a nice atmosphere, especially during the market hours when the food smells start drifting around. The office isn't anything special to look at, just a place with computers, phones, and a lot of shipping documents. Handling cargo and travel means there is always a bit of a rush, especially when deadlines are tight or a shipment is delayed. We spend a lot of time talking to people on the phone, trying to figure out where things are. It can get a bit stressed when the phones won't stop ringing, but we just take it one task at a time. The office usually has a few stacks of boxes or old files in the corners. We aren't really bothered by the mess as long as the work gets out. Most of us have been working together for a while now, so we know how to stay out of each other's way. The walk to the local market for lunch is probably the highlight of the day. It is a grounded, local operation, and we don't try to pretend it is something more than it is. We just keep the wheels turning and handle the logistics for whoever calls us up. We aren't fancy, just busy people.
