We are based at 161, Sarai Jullena. It's a busy part of town, always something happening outside the door. This office for Icici Prudential Life Insurance Co Ltd is where we spend our days. It’s full of desks, files, and people talking about policies and claims. It’s not the most exciting work, but it matters to the people who come in. We see all sorts of folks here. Some are worried, some are just planning ahead. We sit down with them and go through the paperwork. There’s a lot of paperwork. Sometimes the pens run out or the stapler breaks, but we manage. We aren’t some big corporate machine when you’re actually sitting in the chair across from us. We’re just regular people working a job. We have our tea breaks and we talk about the cricket scores. Sarai Jullena is a good spot for us because people can get to us easily. We’ve been here long enough that the locals know where the office is. We don't put on airs or use big words if we can help it. We just explain how things work and fill out the forms. It gets busy, especially at the end of the month, but we stay until the work is done. It’s just a normal office doing normal work for the people in the area. We have been here a long time and plan to stay for a while longer.
