Our spot is located right in the middle of Shahdara and it stays quite busy throughout the week. Working here for Icici Prudential means dealing with a lot of people coming in with questions about their policies or just looking for some paperwork. It is not a very quiet office because there is always someone talking or a printer running somewhere in the back. Delhi-110032 is a crowded area and that energy definitely spills over into our workspace every morning. We have some old desks and chairs that have seen better days but they still get the job done. Most of us have been working in this branch for a while so we know the regulars who come by. It isn't always easy keeping everything organized when so many files are moving around, but we try our best to keep things in order. The tea guy comes around twice a day and that is usually the highlight when we can take a small break from the computer screens. Life insurance isn't exactly a fun topic but it is what we do here in Shahdara. People come to us when they are thinking about the future or when something has gone wrong, so we try to just be normal and helpful. It is a plain office for plain work. We don't use a lot of big words or fancy talk, just explain things as they are. It is just a local office trying to keep up with the pace of the city and making sure the files don't get lost in the shuffle of daily life.
