This branch is tucked away in Karawal Nagar, specifically in Shaheed Bhagat Singh Colony. You have to look for Street No. 1-A to find house 28-A where we are set up. It’s very much a neighborhood spot. Most of the people who come in live just a few blocks away. It’s not like those big glass buildings you see in the city center. Here at Icici Bank in 110094, it’s a bit more personal. We know many of the faces that walk through the door. The office is small and can get a bit cramped on days when everyone decides to come in at once, especially around the start of the month. We have some plastic chairs for waiting and a counter that's seen a lot of use. The lighting isn't the brightest, but it works for us. Outside, you can hear kids playing or the occasional vegetable vendor passing by. It’s a slice of regular life in New Delhi. We don't have any fancy automated machines here, just us and our computers. We try to help out whenever someone has a question about their account. Sometimes the internet is slow, which is frustrating for everyone, but we manage. It’s just a simple place where people come to handle their money and we do our best to keep things moving. There isn't any corporate gloss here, just a practical office in a busy colony.
